Changelog

What changed in each version of Bimb. Chrome updates the extension on its own.

0.2.1 15 October 2026

  • Drag the webcam bubble anywhere on the video, not just to a corner.
  • Mirror the webcam (on by default for new recordings), so it looks like a selfie view.
  • New recordings drop the last half-second, where you reach for the stop button. Drag the trim handle to get it back.
  • A “What’s new” link in the editor after Bimb updates, pointing here.

0.2.0 14 October 2026

  • Webcam bubble: record your camera with the tab or screen, then move, resize, reshape or hide it in the editor.
  • Speed up idle: play quiet stretches at 4× instead of cutting them out.
  • Click zoom for screen and window recordings, from your clicks inside Chrome.
  • The popup warns when the current page can’t be tracked (Chrome pages, the Web Store, other extensions).

0.1.1 14 October 2026

  • Feedback and report-a-problem links in the popup, editor and library.

0.1.0 18 September 2026

  • First release: record a tab, a window or your whole screen, and every click gets an automatic zoom.
  • Editor with cuts, blur, text, drawings, highlight boxes, cursor and keystroke effects, and style presets.
  • Export to MP4, WebM or GIF, alone or in batches. Everything stays on your computer.
